Metro D.C.

Largely considered to be one of the most sought-after investment markets in the world, Metro D.C. is a burgeoning tech hub and the nation’s top region for fast-growing private companies. Recognizing these strengths, Brandywine entered the market through a strategic acquisition of Prentiss Properties in 2006, and has since undertaken several key development projects in the area, including the recently-completed 4040 Wilson—the area’s first mixed-use Vertical Neighborhood. In Tysons, we led the $24M reimagination of 1676 International to introduce urban design, smart and flexible space layouts, and a multitude of amenities. In a competitive landscape, we continue to innovate and invest, with 500,000 SF of exciting projects currently in our development pipeline.
